Vietnamese public holiday in 2019
Vietnamese public holidays are administered by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam. There 21 days for public holiday in 2019 in total.
Tet is the most important holiday because it is the Vietnamese New Year; in honor of religious freedom and the country’s political independence, local shops are widely known to close down during this time. Learn how to get Vietnam visa during Tet holiday here
It should be noticed that, during this time:
- Visa counter at Vietnam airports are still open 24 hours per day;
- Vietnam Immigration Department is closed and the visa processing will be stopped until the officers back to work again. Therefore, we suggest you apply for the letter at least one week in advance.
- During the public holiday, it is not possible to obtain the visa approval letter unless you ordered the overtime service;
